Every event is a guided tasting. Fragrances come through scent tubes instead of spraying, so your group compares the same lineup without the room turning into a cloud. We can teach as much or as little as you want; some groups come for the scent education, others just want a good time. Both are the point.

We curate the lineup

Taste and take home
Your group smells through the lineup together. Everyone can leave with decants of what they loved.

60 to 90 minutes. Corporate workshops run up to 2 hours.

$15 to $25 per person, credited toward anything you take home. Group rates for corporate events.

What is a scent bar event?
Think of a wine tasting, but for fragrance. Your group smells through a curated lineup of scents in tubes, side by side, with as much or as little guidance as you want. You learn what you like, what you do not, and why. Everyone can take home decants of their favorites.
Do we need to know anything about fragrance?
No. Beginners are the norm. We can teach as much or as little as your group wants; some events lean into scent education, others are purely social. Both work.
How many people can you host?
Groups of 4 to 15 work best in the shop. Larger groups are possible with advance notice, and we can also bring the scent bar to your venue or office in the Santa Cruz area.
How long does an event run?
Most private events run 60 to 90 minutes. Corporate workshops with more scent education run closer to 90 to 120 minutes.
How much does it cost?
